DIY Leprechaun Pot O' Gold Sign

The leprechaun finally found the gold...

Happy St. Patrick's Day! How are you celebrating today? We have an idea - drink a green beer, and then make your own leprechaun pot o' gold sign to celebrate! ☘️

Supplies Needed:

• Wooden Witch Sign

• Green paint

• Gold paint

• Black paint

• Paintbrush

• Cricut or Stickers

• Twine

Step 1 - Paint the Leprechaun's Pot & Boots

• For this craft, we used a wood sign from Dollar Tree. This sign is sold around Halloween as a witch and cauldron but we thought it looked more like a Leprechaun, so we saved it for this St. Paddy's day craft!

• Begin by painting the pot and boots with black paint.

Step 2 - Paint the Leprechaun's Pants

• Next, paint your leprechaun's pants with green paint.

Step 3 - Add the Gold

• After your black and green paint dry, add gold paint to the banner on the pot and to the buckles on the boots. It's not St. Paddy's day without some gold!

Step 4 - Add words

• Let the paint dry completely, then add the words 'Pot O' Gold' in black to your gold banner. We used a Cricut to cut out our words in this craft, but if you don't own a Cricut you could use stickers.

Step 5 - Add Twine

• Last, add twine and hang your new Leprechaun sign.
