DIY Leprechaun Hats
Make your own Leprechaun Hats. 🎩
Get St. Patrick's Day ready with this cute & simple craft. ☘️
Supplies Needed:
Set of small planters
Green paint
Gold paint
Black paint
Paintbrush
Optional: Painters Tape
Step 1 - Paint your Planters Green
First, paint your planters green. For this craft, we got our set of planters from Dollar Tree, but if you can't find them at Dollar Tree, you can buy a set of small planters here.
Step 2 - Add a Black Line
After your green paint dries completely, turn your planter upside down and add a line of black paint above the planter's base edge. We just free-handed our black lines but you could use a piece of painter's tape to ensure a straight line, if that is what you prefer.
Step 3 - Add a gold buckle
It wouldn't be a leprechaun accessory if there wasn't any GOLD. Once your black paint dries, add a square to each planter's black line with gold paint to look like a buckle.
Step 4 - Decorate!
Now add your cute leprechaun hats to your St. Patrick's day decor. We think they look adorable on a tiered tray.
